How the calculator works
bottles × (1 + setup allowance)The allowance covers rejects during start-up and machine changeovers.
preforms × preform weightA bottle weighs exactly as much as the preform it was blown from.
preforms ÷ preforms per boxThe box count depends on preform weight and size. The typical packing table is below.
boxes ÷ 26 slotsWe count one box as one slot in a 26-pallet truck. Use it as a guide for planning transport.
