Why suppliers quote on request, which factors move the price and what to send for a fast quote.

The main factor: preform weight
A preform is almost entirely PET, so its price depends first of all on its mass. A 39.4 g preform holds 1.8 times the material of a 21.7 g one, and that shows in the price more than any other factor.
Where the bottle and drink allow it, a lighter preform cuts material use per thousand bottles. You can compare two items by PET use in the calculator comparison mode.
Resin price and exchange rates
Bottle-grade PET trades on the international market, and its cost follows petrochemicals and exchange rates. That is why preform prices are usually fixed in a quote for a specific date and volume.
Colour
A clear preform is plain PET; a blue one has colourant added. Colour affects the price less than weight, but it is part of the quote.
Batch size and delivery schedule
Prices are worked out for a specific batch. If you buy regularly, agree a schedule with the manager: it makes shipments and your stock easier to plan.
Packing and delivery
Preforms ship in boxes. Delivery cost depends on distance and volume: from our warehouse it is about 40 km to Shymkent and about 730 km to Almaty. With pickup you control this part of the cost yourself.

- Preform weight and neck, or the bottle size and drink.
- Colour: clear or blue.
- Quantity per batch and the rough monthly volume.
- Delivery city and address, or pickup.
